British Press report of Ryan Ire

Ryanair has failed in an attempt to get rid of a domain used to criticize its services. As we have previously reported, Michael Coulston had previously been airing his grievances on ryanair.org.uk. He was forced to forfeit this domain but on July 29, 2006, he registered the domain ‘ryanaircampaign.org’ and continued as before.

Ryanair continued to complain about this new domain also but the WIPO has now thrown out this complaint (Case No. D2006-1194). Although WIPO recognized that the new domain contained Ryanair’s trademark, its full name was a legitimate name for use as a criticism site.
